A Vibe Engineering Project

Project Summary

Video Feedback Platform for Martial Arts.

I built this to alleviate friction in student-coach feedback loops. It provides tools that aid physical development in martial arts through structured, visual coaching, serving as a definitive source of truth for all movements and exercises.

The Friction

The Problem

  • Corrections get lost in ephemeral chat histories, forcing me to repeat explanations to students.
  • Students' progress feels fragmented across various chat apps or personal devices.
  • Precise, moment-specific feedback is nearly impossible with simple text or voice messages.
  • Without a centralized repository, there's a total lack of training continuity and no long-term audit trail.

The Shift

The Solution

I built a private platform where:

  • Upload: Students upload their training videos directly to the platform.
  • Annotate: I provide timestamped feedback and draw directly on their frames.
  • Grow: Our teaching library grows over time (I record it once, and assign it repeatedly).

Live Impact

~10 Active
Students
Behaviors
  • Rewatching the library (validating the archive)
  • Checking their dashboard regularly
  • Viewing old feedback before new uploads
Benefits
  • Significantly reduced repetitive work
  • Relocated students stayed connected
  • Years of teaching are now documented

Three-section System

Training corner, Repository of Knowledge, Social Sphere.

Focused Platform

Absolutely no connection to any external social media.

Video Annotation

Timestamped text comments and Draw-over-video capabilities.

Modular Architecture

I built it for Capoeira, designed to adapt to other disciplines.

The Approach

  • I am the user (solving a problem from personal lived experience)
  • Solo full-stack execution as a Vibe Engineer (design → development → deployment)
  • Rapid iteration with actual students using AI-assisted tools

The Future

  • Polishing, adding or removing features based on users' feedback
  • Cross-discipline validation (expanding to BJJ and music teachers)
